World Endometriosis Research Foundation

The World Endometriosis Research Foundation (WERF) is the global charity that fosters research into endometriosis to improve knowledge and treatment(s) of a disease which affects an estimated 176 million women and girls worldwide.

WERF unites researchers in worldwide collaboration, and is currently working with 54 centres in 16 countries.

Through global collaboration WERF is working towards a future where millions of women are not going to have their lives compromised by endometriosis. WERF’s vision is:

- a day where no woman is crippled by endometriosis or unable to have children due to the disease.

- a day where endometriosis can be prevented.
