World Child Cancer

World Child Cancer improves the diagnosis, treatment and support of children with cancer in the developing world and their families. very year, around 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer. Tragically, only half of them receive a proper diagnosis. The majority of these children live in low- and middle-income countries, where often less than 20% will survive, compared to the 80% survival rate in high-income countries like the UK. This disparity is unacceptable. Many children suffer and die unnecessarily due to misdiagnosis, inability to afford treatment, lack of access to essential medicines and insufficient specialised healthcare professionals. Our vision is clear: a world where every child with cancer, no matter where they live, has timely access to the highest quality treatment, care, and support.
