Venture Scotland

Venture Scotland runs an outdoor based, personal development programme for disadvantaged young people who want to make positive, lasting changes in their lives. Our programme delivers a challenging mix of adventure activities, skills development, team working, environmental awareness and conservation tasks. Our work is aimed at breaking the cycle of disadvantage amongst young people whom, because of their support needs or circumstances, are largely excluded from mainstream society. Venture Scotland employs seven staff and over one hundred volunteers to run its programmes.
