Tessa Jowell Foundation

The outpouring of love for ‘the people’s politician’ Tessa Jowell during her illness and following her death led to the creation of the Tessa Jowell Foundation. We aim to continue her legacy through mission-led change projects that will make a positive difference in the world for many years to come. Our first charitable ‘Mission’ is to ensure that everyone diagnosed with brain cancer in the UK can access consistently excellent, specialist services on the NHS. We are starting with brain cancer but this approach will also be used as a road map to deliver universal excellence for all cancer types.
