“Springboard for Children is changing children’s lives through literacy. Our aim is to challenge the effects of underachievement and break the cycle of frustration and failure. Children who are struggling to read and write receive a programme of high quality literacy tuition from qualified staff and trained volunteers enabling them to learn essential literacy skills at their own pace.

Our objective is to see these children recognise and unlock their true potential. With our support children develop literacy skills and confidence which helps them develop an enthusiasm for learning, giving them a better chance in life.”
