Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a modern palliative care facility, situated on 7.5 acres of land within Bellahouston Park. We exist to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days. We have been delivering gold standard specialist palliative care since 1983 to the people of Glasgow and East Renfrewshire. The hospice is a compassionate place of care for people diagnosed with a life limiting or life shortening condition, such as cancer, heart failure, lung disease or neurological conditions such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We aim to provide comfort and peace of mind to everyone. We care for more than 1,200 new patients, their families and carers every year in the hospice and community. Our services are all designed to improve people’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being. It costs £8million each year to run the hospice, of which Greater Glasgow and Clyde fund £2.4 million and the hospice team must raise £5.6 million to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Wherever patients choose to receive their care we are here for them and their families and carers every step of the way.
