Prader Willi Syndrome Association

Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic disorder affecting around 2,000 people in the UK.

PWSA UK is the only UK charity dedicated to providing vital support to individuals with this lifelong condition. The major characteristics are an overwhelming and uncontrollable drive to eat that can lead to life-threatening obesity, learning disabilities, challenging behviour, immature physical and emotional development. Our charity provides a helpline, information hub, a regional network of groups and events, training for professionals and support for vital PWS research. We have no government or health funding and we rely on our people taking part in events and fundraisers along with applying for grants to ensure we are here to support our wonderful PWS community.
