Nottingham Playhouse

Nottingham Playhouse is one of the UK's leading producing theatres. A registered charity and not-for-profit organisation, the Playhouse makes work especially for its communities and has on-site specialist crafts people and artists who share their expertise throughout the catchment area. The Playhouse produces thirteen of its own productions in a typical year and these include classics, new works, comedies, dramas and the ever-popular pantomime.

Over 150,000 patrons enjoy the work of the Playhouse each year and thousands of others benefit from our outreach and education work in schools, colleges and community venues. In 2008 the Playhouse is looking to expand its educational reach and is currently fundraising for PARTICIP8 - to create a studio space and support a 3-year programme of education work within the region.
