LGI Helipad Appeal

The Helipad Fire Response Team is a small group of dedicated Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust staff who operate the Trust’s Helipad from Jubilee Wing at the Leeds General Infirmary. The Helipad is mainly used by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) for transporting critically ill patients to A & E, Cardiac Cath Labs and other emergency departments. The team is fully trained in the use of breathing apparatus (BA), search and rescue and life saver techniques. The Appeal is raising funds for additional training and equipment for the crew.
