Leicestershire Leicester and Rutland Headway is a small voluntary organisation with 30 years of experience providing specialist support and services to adults with acquired brain injury (including stroke), their families and carers. We are the only provision of its kind locally and the only charity supporting individuals and their families with brain injuries. Brain injury can affect anyone at any time of their lives and is often the result of a sudden catastrophic incident; for example, road traffic collision, stroke, assault and Cardiac Arrest. With the right help at the right time, there can be life after brain injury.
