Francis House Children's Hospice

Francis House Children’s Hospice provides care for children, teenagers and young adults with a short life-expectancy. From its base in Didsbury, specialist care is provided in a homely, happy and secure place, helping the young people live life to the full and offering much needed support, friendship and encouragement to their families. The hospice currently helps over 500 families from across the North West of England, completely free of charge. Running costs are currently £4.2 million a year. By far the largest part of funding comes through voluntary charitable donations.
