Facing the World

Facing the World is a registered charity (1092772) providing reconstructive surgery to children from the developing world with severe facial disfigurements. Founded in 2002 by two UK craniofacial surgeons, our mission is to help children for whom surgery can be life-changing and who because of limited local skills, infrastructure and finance have no other hope of treatment. Wherever possible, we enable children to be treated in their countries, but some of the children referred to us have such severe disfigurements that treatment in the UK is the only viable solution, and so we bring them in London for the treatment.
