Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope

Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope was launched in May 2011. Pollyanna Hope is the inspiration for our work; when she was only two years old she was hit by a London bus and lost a leg below the knee. Her grandmother, Elizabeth, was with her and died at the scene. Pollyanna has access to the best prosthetics available; without this support, every day would be a struggle. Yet many children in the developing world live with amputation, but no prosthetics. Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope seeks to help these children, providing them with artificial limbs and the hope they, too, deserve.
