Devon Freewheelers

We are the blood bike charity for the County of Devon, we ride to save lives. A non-funded charity which runs out of hours, Monday to Friday 17:00 to 07:00, Weekends and Bank Holidays 24 hours, for all community hospitals, nursing homes, private patients home and DDOC. We transport blood platelets and samples including whole units of blood for transfusion. Human tissue for transplant. Controlled drugs and medication to private patient homes. Donated breast milk for all special baby care units. We are the hidden rider as you may never see us in your care plan but the likelihood is we have been called out.
