Chilterns MS Centre

The Chilterns MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Centre was established in 1985. The principle activity of the centre is to provide symptomatic treatment, care and support to those with MS and to offer care and support to carers, relatives and friends.

The Chilterns MS Centre provides drug-free symptom management therapies for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Each week 260 people visit the Centre for treatment; the Centre takes patients from Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire as well as some parts of Berkshire and Bedfordshire.

It costs over £500,000 to run the Chilterns MS Centre each year and no direct NHS funding is received. We are in the process of undergoing a new build appeal for the Centre which we anticipate will be built in 2011; this will allow us to treat more people with MS and provide more services. Consequently, supporters like you who take part in a challenge event will make a huge difference.
