Children's Heart Surgery Fund

Children’s Heart Surgery Fund is based at the Yorkshire Heart Centre within Leeds General Infirmary and was registered as a charity in 1988. The centre covers not only Yorkshire but also Humberside and the North Midlands making it one of the largest centres for the treatment of Heart defects in the UK. The CHSF’s role is to create a centre of excellence for children born with Heart problems. Due to new technology and facilities, more children now survive Heart surgery; however many of our children need long term care and often return for further surgery.

Being a small regional charity with no government funding whatsoever we rely wholly on the support and dedication of our fundraisers to continue our work.
