British Liver Trust supports patients and families affected by all liver conditions, including liver cancer and related illnesses. Our helpline, online community, website and patient booklets provide advice and information so that patients can feel supported and seek the treatment they need. Our Support Groups enable people to meet face to face and support each other. We campaign for better awareness and early diagnosis – if liver damage is found and treated early lives can be saved. Over 20% of us are at risk of liver damage and there are many different causes, including genetic and hereditary diseases.
