Action Through Enterprise

Action Through Enterprise (ATE) is a small, dynamic UK registered charity with a vision to establish sustainable economic growth and a measurable reduction in poverty in Lawra District, Upper West Region, Ghana. Since 2012, ATE has worked in partnership with communities in Lawra to reduce poverty through education, enterprise and social change. To achieve this aim, ATE delivers three key programmes: 1) a small business development programme to foster sustainable income generation, 2) school feeding to increase attendance and completion of basic education, 3) a special needs awareness programme to encourage inclusion and improve access to rights and services for children with disabilities and their families.
