Action Cancer

Action Cancer is a leading Northern Ireland charity, providing lifesaving cancer prevention services, therapeutic support services and early detection services in Northern Ireland. Our aim is to save lives and support people. Action Cancer relies entirely on voluntary contributions to maintain and deliver its services. We must raise over £3.6 million each year to maintain life-saving services. All of the funds raised by the charity are spent in Northern Ireland.

Action Cancer services include early detection clinics for women, a BIG BUS mobile screening unit, health promotion for workplaces, community groups and schools, campaigning, grants for local research projects, counselling and complementary therapy for people living with cancer and their families. It is the only charity in N. Ireland to offer breast screening for women.
